MAYA'S REPORT ON TCHAIKOVSKY

Report Excerpt:

He was a nervous and tearful child but loved music from a young age. He listened to music so much that he couldn’t get the songs out of his head. He once told his mother “Oh this music, this music, take it away, it’s in here and it won’t let me sleep.”

Favorite Piece of Music:

My favorite piece by Tchaikovsky is the Arabian Dance from The Nutcracker. I like the Arabian Dance because it is peaceful and soft. It flows gently like the wind blowing through the trees.
