JEREMY'S REPORT ON BACH
Report Excerpt:
If I could meet Bach, I would ask him three questions. First, I would ask him how he felt when his parents died. Second, I would ask him how he spent his time when he wasn’t composing or playing music. Third, I would ask him where he got ideas for his compositions.
Bach is my favorite composer because he wrote wonderful music for adults and children. Even after 300 years, Bach’s music is loved by many for its beautiful melodies. In my violin studies, I have played eight beautiful pieces by Bach, such as Musette, Minuets, Gavottes, and Bourees. Another reason I love Bach’s music is because each piece has a different mixture of feelings.
Favorite Piece of Music:
My favorite piece by Bach is the Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor. It is my favorite piece because the two violins sound like they are having a conversation. I really like the first movement. I’m looking forward to learn and play this wonderful piece with my dad.
